What is tnr?
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a practice in which free roaming cats are humanely trapped and spayed/neutered, then returned to their outdoor home to live out their lives. It is shown to be the most humane and efficient way of controlling the population of outdoor cats.

TNR is also known as TNVR, as most TNR proponents also use the time the cat is under for spay/neuter to vaccinate the cats for feline distemper, rabies, and other diseases both to keep the cats as healthy as they can be and prevent disease outbreaks in the community.
